Due to the fact that open sign up interviews are open, no students are pre-selected or notified of them. In the event that you want to specficially invite a student to an open interview, you can use the instructions in this document to do so.
The following directions already assume that you have setup a company for Open Interviews, and that you have setup the interview schedule for that company.

From the interview schedule page, find and click the button for “Invite Student to Open Interview” on the left hand navigation. (Please note, you will only see this button if this interview is open sign up)
Start typing the name or ename of the student you wish to invite. Once you have found them, click “Invite Student”.
You should see a success message after inviting.
The student will receive the exact same email that they would have received had this been a pre-select interview offering them to interview.
The interview will show up on their “My Interviews and Sign Ups” page under “My Interviews and Offers”. Where they can schedule it just as they would any other interview.
