What's Coming in The Next version of Performance Feedback - Fall 2024

I’m excited to share what is new and upcoming with the next version (Version 2.0) of Performance Feedback that is scheduled to be released and ready for use in the Fall of 2024.

New Features

Survey Copying

One of the most requested features that we add to Performance Feedback is the ability to clone a survey from a previous year. Many users of Performance Feedback use the tool to collect feedback year to year on a group of employees with a more or less standardized survey. Starting this fall you’ll be able to choose a survey from a previous year (or this year) and create a copy of it.

You’ll be free to then maniulate that copy as needed to create your survey. For more information, check out our help documentation on how to copy a survey

Question Copying

It comes as no suprise that our second most requested feature this year was the ability to copy a question within a survey. This can be especially helpful if you have a custom multiple choice question that you want to replicate the answers for throughout your survey.

Just like surveys, once copied, questions can then be edited as you see fit. For more information, check out our help documentation on how to copy a survey question.

Optional “Other”

Currently, when you create a multiple choice question with Performance Feedback we append an “Other” as an alternative option to the answers that a creator provides. While good inentioned, we should have given creators the option to provide this in their own surveys. Starting this fall we will no longer automatically provide an “other” option for multipe choice questions. Instead, this will be functionality that you’ll need to opt-in to as a creator.

 

If you opt-in to add other, surveys will function as they do now with the “other” checkbox and a text box for further explanation.

Bug Fixes

Removing a Group of Users

You can now remove a group of users from a survey instance when you un-check the group. Previously, checking on the group would add those users, but unchecking would do nothing.

Other Smaller Fixes

  • Clicking out of a question modal will no longer close the box and lose work.

  • Show a reminder of exactly when the survey will close on the survey creation page.

  • Agree/Disagree question type is now shown in a stacked configuration with Strongly agree to Strongly Disagree.
