Each lab should have a white board at or near the lab op’s desk. It is each shift’s responsibility to make sure the information on the board is accurate and neat.

The format is as follows:

Day of Week, Date

Lab Op: Lab Op’s First Name

Lab Hours: Lab’s Open Hours

Reservations: Concise List of Reservation Times

The “Reservations” section can get crowded, so you may decide to just combine the times that the lab is reserved into blocks. For example, if you have back to back reservations from 9:00am to 4:00pm, rather than writing out each reservation, simply write “9:00am - 4:00pm”.

More detailed information about the reservations can be found on the Trumba feed, which should be printed out at the beginning of each week and posted near the entrance to the reserved lab.
