Signing into Adobe CC: Labs (Shared Device licenses)

Overview

This method of sign-on is only for shared device licenses installed in CHHS computer labs. As of Spring 2022, Adobe CC is installed in the Gifford 317/329 and RDC 103/104 computer labs.

Steps for Signing in to Adobe Creative Cloud Suite

Users who already have an existing AdobeID can sign in with their AdobeID credentials. The steps below are for users who have not yet created an AdobeID. Sign-in will fail if you use your @colostate.edu address or eID credentials.

  1. Open Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app from the Windows Start Menu

NOTE: You might get an error message saying “Updates required”, but Adobe CC has already been updated as much as our purchased licenses allow. Please exit out of the error and open Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app again.

2. Click “Create an account”

3. NOTE: Use your personal email address to create an AdobeID. Sign-in will fail if you use your @colostate.edu email address or eID credentials.

a. Your AdobeID password does not have to be the same as your eID password, as they are not linked in any way. If you reset your AdobeID password, that will not reset your eID password, and vice versa.

4. Click Create account and then you will be automatically signed in. You can now close out of the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app and open any Adobe CC app.

5. When you open an Adobe CC app for the first time signing in with a new AdobeID, you may be asked to enter your date of birth in order to continue in the app.

6. You must verify your email address with Adobe. You should have received an email from Adobe requesting to verify the email address you used to create an AdobeID.

7. Click the “Verify your email” link and then re-enter your AdobeID password, and click Continue.

8. If verification is successful you will see the message below:
