How to Judge a Research Day Project

Logging In
To get started, you’ll first need to login. There are two ways to login and judge, depending on how you signed up for Research Day. If you signed up for Research Day as a University Affiliate (meaning you have an active Net Id and password) you will click the Login with NetId button. If you do not have a Net Id and you signed up with a personal email address click Login with Email Address.
Login with Net Id
To login with your Net Id, click the Login with Net Id button. You’ll be presented with the standard CSU Login page where you can enter your Net Id and password to begin judging.
Login with Email Address
To login with an email address, first start by clicking Loving with Email Address. You’ll be presented with a screen where you can enter your email that you signed up with and a button to Send Link.
The Research Day judging application does not use passwords. Once you enter your email address and click Send Link we will send you a secret link with a token that you can click on to log you in.
Check In
When you log into the Research Day Judging application, you will first see a welcome message, followed by a prompt to check in for judging. To begin judging, click “Check In”
Judging
When you log into the Research Day Judging app, you should see a list of posters that you are assigned to judge. To begin, click or tap on one of them.
You will be taken to a screen where you can assign a score on a 1-5 scale for each category.
Make sure you score the Oral Presentation category. If the presenter is not at the poster, leave the default N/A option selected.
When you are done adding a score for each category, click or tap the Submit Scoring button.
You will be brought back to the home screen so you can continue to judge your assigned projects until you’ve judged all of them.
