The Password Protected plugin is used to configure this status on an entire site. We have a few sites that are restricted to a select audience. |

We do not have the ability to password protect a single page or sections of a site, it’s the entire site or nothing. |
Check the Enabled box
Enter a password
Reenter password
Click “Save Changes”

Submit a request to WPEngine asking them to disable caching for the Password Protected cookie associated with the site. You’ll find that under My Site > Choose your site > Settings > Password Protected > Help

You can request this via WPEngine’s chat feature. After they’ve disabled caching for the cookie you sent them, you will see it listed under Production (livechhs) > Cache > Exclusions > scroll to bottom of the list
