First, go to your schedule by clicking the Schedule dropdown menu in the navigation bar. Then select Lab Op Schedules. You can also get here by going to the Dashboard, then clicking the My Schedule link under Work Schedule.

On this screen, you can see your availability and your shift schedule. Click on the shift that you’d like covered. In this example, I’m going to request coverage for my Friday shift.

On this screen, you can fill in the details. You can request coverage for your entire shift or just part of it. The request can also be one-time or permanent. You can also add comments.

This box should only be checked if your coverage request is open to anyone, and you want everyone to receive the email notification. If it is only for one person, uncheck the box.
