Before lab operators can submit their availability, you should set the labs' open hours. Click the Manage dropdown menu in the navigation bar, then select Hours.

On that screen, you can define a new Semester/Break to contain the lab hours you will set.

In this example, I’m setting up the Fall 2020 semester. Checking “Lock Semester from View” will allow you to create this semester without it being visible to lab operators yet.

Once that is done, you should see something like this.

The next step is to add open hours for the labs. Click the Add Hours button on the top-right. On that screen, you can set the open and close time for each individual lab. In this example, I am going to set the hours for Education 220, leaving the weekends blank because the lab is closed on those days.

After clicking Create, you should see something like this.

Repeat the process for each staffed lab for that semester or break, and then you will be good to go.
