Before a semester begins, it’s important to set your availability so the manager and auto scheduler create a work schedule that fits with your classes and other time constraints. To do this, click on the Schedule dropdown menu in the navigation bar, then select Availability.

On the availability page, select the correct Semester/Break (essentially just a time period) for which you’d like to submit your availability.

Once you’ve switched into the correct Semester/Break, enter the minimum and maximum number of hours you’d like to work below the calendar. You can also add comments. Then click Save.

Next, enter the times during which you would not like to be scheduled by clicking Add Block.

In this example, I add a Class block to indicate that I am in class from 1pm to 2pm on MWF so I cannot work.

Another example: I don’t want to work at all on Saturdays.

Once you’re done adding class times and other unavailability, your schedule may look something like this:

If something changes and you want to remove an unavailable block, just click on that block and you will be given the option to delete it.
